A 2012 Charity Calendar - in aid of FSID -The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths which is the UK's leading baby charity aiming to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health. FSID fulfils these aims by:
-
Funding research
-
Supporting families whose babies have died suddenly and unexpectedly
-
Disseminating information on infant health, baby care and sudden infant deaths to health professionals and the general public
-
Working with professionals to improve investigations when a baby dies
FSID operates throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. As well as the staff team in head office there are also eight Regional Development Officers who actively promote FSID's campaigns across the country.
The calendar is loosely based on the Calendar Girls concept - but all the models are MALE. The models range in age from 20 years old to 70 years old and all regulars in the pub. The calendar was shot in the Three Swans Pub, Selby, North Yorkshire during a busy Thursday evening - obviously behind curtains! We have successfully secured printing of these A4 calendars and are expecting to ship these calendars commencing Monday 19th December 2011...
All proceeds from the sale of the calendar is donated to FSID during January 2012.
