Ammania sp. "Bonsai" is a new addition to the Ammania genus. Its leaves are rounded, and a light green color. It is not demanding in terms of substrate as it takes in nutrients mainly through the water. Under intense light, the stems of the plant turn a deep red, making it very attractive as a centerpiece. It does not grow very fast for a stem plant and care should be taken when planting. Do not plant them too closely together, as the bottom will rot due to lack of light.
