Unlike other Bacopa species, this species is more suitable for the terrarium. It has an erect hairy stem with opposite leaves. The leaves are short petioled (almost sessile) about 3cm long and 2.5cm wide. The bright green leaf blade has conspicuous cream coloured veins.
