Notes: Originating from Central and South America, Cabomba Aquatica is very similar to its Northern American cousin, Cabomba Caroliniana.
Differentiation between these two plants can be observed in the color of their flowers and the segmentation of their leaves. Cabomba Aquaticas flowers are white and yellow and its leaves are even more segmented than C. Caroliniana (some hobbyists report as much as 300 segments per leaves. Only 60 for C. Caroliniana).
This species is also more demanding and requires softer water. Water conditions should be as follow: ph: 6.0-6.8 DH: 2-8 temperature: 73 to 78F. Very clean and clear water is a must to fully grow this plant.
