Technically every plant should have light, fertilisers and CO2 to aid its growth. But in this section we have broken it down into those that will survive and grow in just about any tank, and those that really do require high light, good quantities of fertilisers and also CO2.

Anyone can easily step from the low tech to the high tech tanks simply by slowly increasing light, then adding fertilisers and finally pressurised CO2 systems.
