Delivery and how we do it

We only send out plants that have arrived with us the same week , therefore we need to have a cut off day the week before.

All orders placed with us by 4pm on a THURSDAY will be despatched the following week. If there is any delay - you will be notified immediately. As we are sure you can appreciate, your plants are grown in foreign climates so we have to contend with the joys of UK Customs etc.

We offer a selection of postage options as shown below:

* Next day delivery is from the date we receive your plants to us, NOT the date you place your order.

** We use (where possible) Royal Mail Airsure which is a premium service above Airmail. Standard delivery is Royal Mail Airmail. Standard delivery is 3 to 5 days.

If your order is over £50.00 then we apply an automatic discount of 10%. We further offer FREE UK standard mainland delivery if your order is above £60 as a thank you. International orders do not benefit from free delivery.

Failed plant arrival - If a plant which you order fails to arrive with us, we will refund 100% of the cost of that item to you. If your order arrives in the UK but FAILS UK Customs or DEFRA you will be given the choice of reorder or 100% refund.

Failed plant delivery - If an item fails to arrive in satisfactory condition, you will be required to photograph it and send the photograph to us for comment. At this point, If you have NOT selected  Courier Services, you cannot be offered a replacement or a refund. Failed deliveries with Royal Mail services cannot be compensated at all. We will retain proof of postage for your information. Your compensation must be sought from the Royal Mail only.

Backorders - From March 1st. We will no longer process back ordered items. Any short fall in the order will be refunded in full

Cancellation of Orders - We will process your order in good faith relaying all items to the supplier at 16:00 GMT on a Thursday of each week. Until we process your order, you are free to request a cancel of any item and a full refund with no protestation. If you request a cancellation of your order or any item AFTER 16:00 GMT on a Thursday you can only request a refund to the value of 80%. The 20% retained fee is for restocking.

If you would like your plants to arrive on a particular day, they can but there is a small additional charge. This is done at cost - we make nothing on this, and this service is for UK mainland only, but you need to contact us up front and we will try to arrange this for you.
