OVERVIEW: Dwarf Sag is a fast growing rosette plant and very popular for its bright green leaves that sport reddish tips in bright light.
HABITAT: Rivers, fresh and brackish.
NATIVE RANGE: Eastern United States and South America.
MAXIMUM HEIGHT: 6 inch (15 cm).
LIGHTING: Moderate.
WATER: 64-82 F (18-28 C); pH: slightly acidic to alkaline; Hardness: Soft to moderately Hard.
FEEDING: Suceptible to Iron deficiency. A Nutritious substrate with Macro and Micro Nutrient supplementation is advised for best growth.
SPECIAL CARE: None required.
PROPAGATION: Runners.
NOTES: A useful attractive foreground plant, dwarf sag can be a well kept in the low-tech aquarium as in a fully equipped high tech setup.
