A must for all plantsman or aquascapers. It is a catalogue created by one of our plant farmers - Oriental. The preface is written by Takashi Amano.
This book tells you everything you need to know about any plant. Water parameters, temp, lighting fertilisers etc. It also tells you about the plant origins and how it should grow. It is in full colour with images for all plants.
Sections on Aquascaping, Water Chemistry, botanical classifications make fascinating reading. All plants have codes assigned to them and we use the exact same codes as well! Makes plant ordering really simple.
A5 in size, 184 pages. We use it all the time internally for plant identification.
Some feedback we have recieved about this book is:
Luis: I got my copy today, the book is very good. The information about the plants is very good. There are plants there that I never heard about, so it is a great buy for £15. If you have a tank, want to buy some plants, and want to understand more about what you are buying, get this book.
Gavin: I received a copy of the above yesterday and I have to say, what an excellent publication this is!
With a foreword section by Takashi Amano, then detailed explanation of the classification and cultivation of aquatic plants, the book starts extremely well and then goes on through sections detailing plant after plant after plant with great reference pictures and valuable information under each given photo and description. All I can say is I can't put it down :-) for a mere 15 quid it's a bargain and I can see this soon becoming the must have book for all planted tank enthusiasts, whatever their level of expertise.
Many thanks Tony.
